Changes to the method of calculating Environmental Fund contributions and taxes

Operators introducing carrier bags not made of biodegradable materials, on the national market are obliged to calculate and pay an ecotax of RON 0.2/per bag. Bags made of paper, textiles or other materials with biodegradable nature, are not subject to ecotax.
