The Romanian Environment Minister Laszlo Borbely proposed on Monday that the application of the pollution tax upon the first sale of cars registered in Romania before 1 January 2007 be suspended for about one year, until 1 January 2013, people close to the matter told Mediafax.
The proposal was advanced in the coalition meeting on Monday and would be introduced by Emergency Ordinance.
